Scope the temporary system, not just the rental unit

Genesis Prime Group's rental services includes emergency generators, construction-site and event generators, temporary power, hurricane or emergency standby generators, portable generators and rental load banks. Fuel tanks, distribution equipment, cables, accessories, installation and removal can also be included in the defined scope.

We serve project inquiries in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe Counties. Equipment sourcing, availability and delivery arrangements are confirmed for each request.

Temporary power during replacement or repairs

A permanent-generator replacement may create a period when the existing unit is unavailable. Identify whether temporary power is required, the loads it must support and the expected duration before scheduling removal.

The temporary installation needs its own electrical and operating scope. Available connection arrangements, distribution equipment, fuel, installation, supervision and removal should be identified. Do not assume that renting a unit automatically provides a complete connection to the building.

Construction, events and planned standby needs

Provide the location, dates, equipment or activities to be powered and any worksite restrictions. Identify whether the requirement is continuous operation, selected daily periods or a standby reservation.

A construction site, an event and an occupied building can have different distribution and access requirements. Those conditions belong in the quote, along with responsibility for any permits, site preparation and operating controls.

The proposed equipment and its permitted use must be reviewed for the intended application. A rental description alone does not establish suitability for every operating duty or location.

Clarify the rental package

The written scope should identify the generator, fuel tank, distribution, cables and accessories supplied. State who handles delivery, installation, startup, fuel coordination, service during the rental, removal and any restoration.

Duration, usage allowances, extensions, cancellation terms and emergency availability need written confirmation. Confirm the available equipment rating and accessories in the rental proposal.

For a Keys project, define the actual site access and mobilization plan before confirming equipment or delivery. Coverage throughout Monroe County does not mean identical mobilization or response times at every address.

Rental load banks are included in our offering. State whether the request is for equipment only or a complete testing service with personnel, procedure and reporting. Those are different commercial scopes.

Request information that supports a useful quote

Send the address, start and end dates, project type, required equipment and available voltage or load information. Identify the operating objective and whether drawings or connection details are available. Missing information should lead to a scoped review, not a guessed equipment selection.

Is emergency equipment guaranteed during a storm?

No. Availability, site access, delivery and operating conditions require confirmation. A general inquiry is not an equipment reservation.

Does Genesis own all rental equipment?

The proposal identifies the equipment supplier, availability and service responsibilities for your rental.

Can temporary power be included in a replacement contract?

Yes, when the requirement and equipment are defined and included in the written scope.
