From equipment selection to a completed installation

A generator is an equipment purchase. A working backup-power system is a construction project. Genesis Prime Group brings generator sales, installation, replacement and related services together for properties in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe Counties.

Our focus is a defined scope: the loads you need to support, the installation location, transfer equipment, fuel supply, construction work and testing. Commercial and industrial owners can start with a new installation or replacement review. Homeowners can request a residential standby-generator evaluation.

Choose the project you need

New generator installation

Plan a new system around the property, rather than selecting equipment first and trying to make it fit. Our installation offering includes generator sales, sizing and load calculations, pads or slabs, enclosures, exhaust and muffler systems, fuel tanks, day tanks and the associated construction scope. Diesel, natural-gas and LP equipment are available for project evaluation.

Generator replacement and upgrades

An existing system gives us a starting point, not an automatic reuse decision. Replacement planning considers the generator, transfer equipment, fuel system, support structure and the period when the old system is unavailable. Relocation and upgrades can be evaluated as part of the project.

Transfer switches and fuel infrastructure

Some projects need an ATS replacement, a day tank, new fuel-storage equipment or related modifications without a complete generator replacement. Those scopes deserve their own equipment review, construction sequence and acceptance criteria.

Maintenance, testing and repairs

After installation, the system needs a clear service plan. Our services include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, ATS work and load-bank testing. Specify the assets covered and distinguish routine maintenance from a particular test or corrective repair.

Installation planning for commercial properties

Tell us what must remain operational. A condominium may prioritize common-area systems, a hotel may identify essential operations, and a restaurant may focus on refrigeration and selected kitchen equipment. These are operating goals to evaluate, not a statement that every listed load is automatically required or suitable for the same system.

A project review should distinguish required emergency functions from optional backup loads. Generator selection then needs the electrical characteristics of the actual equipment and its operating sequence. Main-service amperage alone is not a finished generator specification.

The construction plan also needs the physical site: delivery and lifting access, equipment support, maintenance access, electrical routing, fuel connections, noise and exhaust considerations, restoration and shutdown coordination. Resolving those interfaces before purchasing equipment makes the proposal more useful.

One defined scope, clear responsibilities

Turnkey does not mean leaving the details unstated. The written proposal identifies design, permitting, procurement, trade work, testing and closeout responsibilities. Engineering and regulated specialty work are assigned to the appropriately licensed professionals and contractors for the project.

Equipment availability, utility work and agency review are schedule dependencies. The project plan should show what is included, what is an allowance and what remains the owner's responsibility. No universal permit date or outage-free changeover is promised.

Miami-Dade first: local project planning

Miami-Dade: identify the municipal or County jurisdiction and the reviews relevant to the proposed installation. Miami-Dade generator installation.

Broward: coordinate with the correct building authority and evaluate the installation and any regional or specialty reviews for the address. Broward generator installation.

Monroe and the Florida Keys: establish the municipality, floodplain review, access and mobilization plan before committing to an equipment location. Florida Keys generator installation.

Project scheduling and mobilization are confirmed for the property location.

Relevant Genesis project work

The published Genesis portfolio identifies a new backup generator installation for Terrabank and fuel-tank installation at the Biltmore Hotel. Those are two distinct project scopes. View the photographs and descriptions in the project portfolio.

Start with a project, not a guessed generator size

Send the property location, property type, reason for the installation and your power priorities. Existing plans, nameplate photographs taken safely, maintenance reports and review comments are helpful when available. Complete drawings are not required to start the conversation.

Can Genesis quote only installation when equipment has already been selected?

Send the equipment specifications and plans. Compatibility, delivery, warranty responsibilities and the remaining installation work need to be established before defining the quote.

Is temporary power included during replacement?

Only when it is stated in the contract. Temporary-power and rental services can be reviewed separately from the permanent installation.

Is a site evaluation free?

The scope and any evaluation or engineering fee are confirmed before that service is authorized. A quote request does not authorize paid work.
