Commercial and residential generator services in Miami-Dade
Genesis Prime Group helps homeowners, businesses and property managers plan standby-power projects in Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Doral, Hialeah, Aventura, Homestead and other Miami-Dade communities.
Start with the service you need: commercial generator installation, home standby generator installation, generator replacement, or preventive maintenance. The proposal defines equipment, site work, specialty responsibilities and any engineering or permitting scope.
Home standby generator installation
Tell us which household loads you want to support and whether the property has an existing generator, transfer switch or fuel supply. We review the proposed location, equipment support, access and connection work before defining the installation scope.
Generator maintenance for Miami-Dade properties
Share the generator make, model, service history and any active fault indications. Maintenance proposals can identify covered equipment, planned visits, service tasks and reporting. Corrective repairs and load-bank testing are defined separately when needed.

A construction plan for your Miami-Dade generator project
Genesis Prime Group provides generator installation and replacement services for Miami-Dade properties. Commercial buildings, condominiums, hotels, restaurants and industrial facilities can request a project review that connects equipment selection with the work needed at the site.
The first information we need is the property address and the purpose of the installation. A mailing address alone should not be used to decide which agency reviews the project.

Start with the correct building jurisdiction
Miami-Dade's official generator guide states that its submittal guidance applies to unincorporated County properties. It directs projects within municipalities to the municipal Building Department. Identify that distinction before assembling the permit package.
The County guide also describes review of site, electrical, fuel and related installation information. It is a starting resource; the page contains older code-edition references and expressly advises confirming current requirements with the applicable agencies. It should not be copied into a new project as an automatically current checklist.

Define the system and the work at the property
For a new installation, identify the desired building functions and the actual equipment to be supported. For replacement, provide the existing generator and ATS information, recent service or test reports and the reason for the change. Do not assume that the main service rating or existing generator rating provides the final answer.
Our generator installation offering includes diesel, natural-gas and LP equipment, sizing and load calculations, pads, enclosures, exhaust and muffler systems, fuel tanks and day tanks. Electrical, fuel, design and specialty responsibilities are identified in the agreed scope.

Questions for an occupied Miami-Dade property
A property manager should identify the acceptable work hours, residents or tenants affected by access restrictions, and any required coordination with building service companies. A hotel or restaurant should explain which operations must continue and whether equipment delivery conflicts with normal deliveries or guest access.
During estimating, identify the actual delivery route, lifting location, electrical work area, fuel-system route and restoration work. Where the installation affects existing service, define the shutdown sequence and any temporary-power scope before construction.
Treat fuel and environmental review as project-specific
The type and arrangement of the fuel system can affect the review path. Bring the proposed equipment data and any existing fuel-system records to the initial discussion. Tank installation, day tanks and other fuel components should be part of the coordinated project rather than left as undefined accessories.
Generator procurement should follow a review of the relevant site and system constraints. An attractive equipment price does not settle whether the proposed installation location and fuel arrangement can be used.
Relevant work to review
The Genesis portfolio includes a new backup generator installation for Terrabank and fuel-tank installation at the Biltmore Hotel. Review the project gallery for these installation and related infrastructure references.
Communities in the service area
Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Doral, Hialeah, Aventura, Homestead and other Miami-Dade communities are within our service area. The address determines the project jurisdiction and mobilization needs.
Can Genesis start with incomplete plans?
Yes. Send what you have and identify what is missing. The next step may include a field review or defined engineering scope before an equipment proposal is finalized.
Is the County generator guide enough for a municipal project?
No. Use the authority responsible for the property's location and confirm the applicable review requirements.
Can the proposal include ATS or fuel work without a full replacement?
Those services can be scoped separately. See ATS services and fuel-system services.
